Dr. Anna Zmich

Anna hails from the very cold state of Minnesota. She received a BS in Biology and a BA in Chemistry from Andrew’s rival undergraduate school, Iowa State University. Anna’s undergraduate research included studying the effects of nutrient levels on the expression of the harmful algal toxin Microcystin. She also has experience in zebrafish care! Her overall love of proteins has brought her to the Buller lab. When not “doing the science,” Anna can be found spending time with friends, petting her cat, looking at lichens, or cooking.
